A Girl Who Loved Jehovah – By Joy Ahuruonye © 2015

This story, written as it is, on Tuesday 10/02/2015 by Joy, age 8

Once upon a time, there was a girl; her name was Jeana. She was not a good girl.

At the meetings, she did not pay attention; she just slept, or drew.

When she went in the ministry, she just told her dad to do the next door, and after about five to ten minutes, she says to her dad: my legs are cold, or other excuses. And sometimes, she says:

“I’m too tired, I can’t do anymore”

“OK”, says her parents, and they went home.

“Today is just like last week, I’m sick”, says Jeana.

“I’m sick”, she says.

“Well, OK”, her parents said.

“You can stay home today, but don’t open the door to anyone”

“Yes mum, yes dad”, lied Jeana.

She does not obey her parents, so her parents went on their ministry.

Jeana yawned, she got in her bed and fell asleep, and she started to dream.

“You have not been a good girl”, said a voice.

As she woke up and looked closely, she saw it was an angel.

“Yes, yes, I will be a good girl”, said Jeana, (She was scared).

“Well, if you don’t”, said the angel, “you will regret breaking your promise”.

When her parents came back, they saw Jeana looking a bit happier than usual. They asked her why, and Jeana told them everything, and she never missed a meeting or ministry from that day on.
